Please add the option to your card
and most importantly please use a SUGAR NELLIE image.

Made a landscape card 5 1/2" x 6" to make the images fit. I initially planned to make a Christmas card using Maggie the Christmas Fairy (wearing a burgundy gown with gold accents) but in the last minute turned her into a Princess (removed fairy wings) because I couldn't find my BG Christmas DP after searching for days. Hopefully, she'll pass as a princess. When I saw this DCWV Once upon a time stack, I had to go with it. That's the problem when you color before choosing the paper. lol! To make this card shine, I used a green shimmery cs for matting, hand stitched the cs edges with gold threads, used gold ribbon, embossed frame edges using copper ep, added gold centers on the flowers and gold stickles on Maggie's wand, tiara and collars, sleeves, belt and stars on her dress. The "Once", "upon a time" and background DP are glittered papers. The small flowers are from the MS 3-1 Hydrangea punch. Maggie is colored with copics.
Card opens upwards. DP is from the DCWV "Once upon a time" and added a shimmery green cs to mat. I cut the words separately so I can cross out "beautiful" and change the word to "CUTE" because she's really more cute! lol! The word "CUTE" was stamped with gold encore ink then added stickles on top for glitter. Did not hand stitch all the way to make way for the swirls and I really like how it truned out.
Maggie is left with a castle background when you open the card. I always want to put an empty space for writing notes so I placed a secret scroll beside her so as to not obstruct the dp design. Gold threads on the edges.
You pull it up.... (you can add notes here) Sponged edges with adirondack inks. The metal hardware is from the MS punch boxes. I saved mine and am glad to finally find use for them.
Then fold it down. The scrolling image on each edge has bits of stickles on them. You can write notes back to back.
I really like how this card turned out! Great for a little girl's birthday card too.
Thanks for the great sketch Judy!
